Canadian Adaptive Rowing Program Selects the Turbo II Classic by Virus Boats
The
Turbo II Classic by Virus Boats is a single, sliding seat boat with polyethylene
hull
Urs - these are photos of Bill McGuire of the Argonaut Rowing Club rowing your boat.
The boat is owned by the Sudbury Rowing Club Adaptive Program and was purchased using a grant from Rowing Canada Aviron. I purchased the boat, because of its stability and durability. We're just getting started with the boat - but so far its been great. Bill, a single leg amputee, with years of rowing experience raved about the comfort of the seat. I'm excited that my new adaptive rowers, many of whom are just learning to control a boat, don't have to worry about bouncing off of things as they learn. This weekend, a new rower bounced off a concrete retaining wall and didn't even put a scratch in the boat!
