We have gotten your letter and have complied. Your name is no longer listed anywhere on our site. We have fully complied with your letter and those domain names are no longer active.

I hope business is well, we are on pace to sell a record number of Horizons this year so we are very excited about the future. I hope you do not take any of these actions as sour grapes. We have had the same thing done to us and have been forced to live with the results.

We consider this issue to be closed.

Good day,

Messrs Ed Jarivs and Ryan Jarvis.
We confirm receipt of your response. Thank you.
Action driven by pure opportunism, let's the key issue fall by the wayside; that is, the ethical responsibility - something that comes with being in business and maybe even more so, in the business of rowing for over 30 years. It's all about integrity and serious stewardship in a market in which there are few in numbers and not much remains undetected. Hence, it is not about sour grapes, that would be missing the point totally.

As far as we can see, you own the two URLs but do not make use of them any longer. We would offer you to transfer these two URLs to us against our payment to you for outlays in registration fees.

Cordially

Urs,

Urs,with all due respect we are only talking about domain names. If someone wants a Virus they'll buy a Virus and vice versa. I'm left to ponder that if these two domain names were so vital to you, why were they not already registered to your company? That's beside the point. I/we wish you no ill will whatsoever. Alden owns the domain names, not myself or Ed.

Our internet people say that $1,500 per domain name is the minimum that any and all folks settle for when transferring domain names. Apparently thats the minimum cost for all involved to process such a transaction without involving litigation. If that sounds reasonable maybe we can work something out, if not we will simply leave the urls the way they are.

Director
