Any time is the best time for rowing on Longboat Key, rowing at it's best in Florida. The water is "thin", the days are sunny (mostly), and the temps are in the 70's – 80's. Learn to row in Virus sculls or if you are a rower, pay us a visit and take a boat out. To the "pros" we can offer the thrill of rowing a vintage (40years young) Staempfli 70kg shell and a MAAS – flyweight shell. We even have a sea kayak or two for the narrow spots through the Mangroves.

Sarasota / Longboat Key makes for a perfect break during wintertime. Our area is full of wonderful spots for the arts, places to go, beaches to linger, eateries to endulge and miles of free water space to row it all off again.
